Jet Transition Program

The Jet Transition Course, delivered in partnership with Bell Murray Aerospace (BMA), is designed to provide single-seat pilots with the crew resource management skills needed to fly in a commuter or commercial airline environment.

Course overview

During the Jet Transition Program, you will examine the differences between a small aircraft and commercial jet flight management computers (FMC) and gain experience in jet airplane operations, communications and checklists.

  • Multiple classes each month, please speak to a member of the team regarding availability.
  • Minimum class size is two people, with an ideal class size of four or six.

Designed and taught by airline training professionals, this specialized course delivers real-world operational insight. It is not an FAA-approved program.

  • Age - Applicants must be at least 18 years old
  • Language - Applicants must be able to speak English proficiently
  • Cost - $3,500

Please note: Accommodation is not included in the cost of the course.

Training timelines

  • 8 x hours: Instructor-led Ground Instruction
  • 4 x hours: Flight Training Device
  • 4 x hours: Full Flight Simulator

Location

In partnership with Bell Murray Aerospace (BMA) the Jet Transition Program is delivered in Florida:

  • Ground Instruction: Acron Aviation Academy, Sanford FL.
  • Simulation: Sanford International Airport or Orlando International Airport.
