Overview

Acron Aviation's Flight Data Connect provides operators with an all-encompassing flight data monitoring (FDM) solution, it tells you the ‘what’, but the FSO will tell you the ‘why’.

All Acron Aviation FSOs are experts in flight safety analysis and have the experience to close out normal events, that don’t pose a risk to your operation, while investigating and making recommendations on those that exceed the event safety threshold.

Features of FSO service

The service provides expert analysis and investigation, enabling operators to release pilots from the office and allowing the safety team to focus on safety.

We have one of the fastest processes for embedding one of our FSOs into your operation, typically only taking a matter of weeks.

The Acron Aviation FSO is fully integrated into your safety team. They quickly learn your SOPs and apply them to all analysis and investigations to ensure findings and recommendations are relevant and tailored to your operation. We work with your safety management system and enter reports for all safety and maintenance events.

The FSO will produce and present regular reports to your safety teams, senior management and board members, where applicable. You can also take advantage of Acron Aviation’s informed flight data event threshold reviews every six months. Ensure complete data representation with data upload monitoring and benefit from involvement in other areas of flight safety management.

Benefits of Flight Safety Support Service

Outsourcing can be the most cost-effective way for operators to make informed data-driven decisions. With Acron Aviation's FSO service you receive all the benefits of an in-house operation, plus:

Save time and resources by having all events investigated, reported on and closed. All FSOs have good knowledge of FDM terminology, and what parameters to look at when investigating an event, allowing events to be analyzed quickly.

Operators do not need to employ more dedicated flight safety officers into the organization, plus the FSO service includes 12 out of hours support calls free of charge - usually charged at £500 per callout.

The FSO is separated from the operator’s company culture by distance and employer and can deliver a truly neutral investigation free from company influences.

Acron Aviation FSOs work with a wide variety of aircraft types, so what is learnt from other operators’ fleets may be applied to the client’s fleet. The FSO is also less likely to suffer from confirmation bias due to working with multiple fleets and operator SOPs.

FSOs have immediate access to the wider Acron Aviation subject matter experts whenever there is an issue to be resolved or if they need to consult any aspect of FDM.
