Systems Knowledge Suite
The Systems Knowledge Suite combines all the tools needed to master aircraft systems, cockpit familiarization, general subjects, and FMS (Flight Management System) skills. Integrated with the learning management system (LMS), this interactive, self-paced program delivers enhanced knowledge retention compared to traditional methods.
- Aircraft systems & general subjects: Through self-paced instruction, demonstrations, assessments, practice scenarios, and testing, this comprehensive suite promotes better knowledge retention
- Cockpit familiarization: Provides pilots with a self-study tool to prepare for oral exams and checkrides by exploring cockpit panel details and functional descriptions of switches, buttons, and indicators
- Flight management system (FMS) skills: Scenario-based lessons cover all phases of flight, allowing trainees to master the CDU/FMS, autoflight, and navigation, from preflight to landing

Procedure Training Suite
ETHOS also delivers targeted procedure training through an intuitive tablet application. Pilots can use the Procedure Training Suite to practice cockpit flows, exterior preflight procedures, and profiles & callouts in preparation for instructor-led training. - Procedure skills: Tutorial-based courseware teaches normal standard operating procedures (SOPs) with detailed demonstrations of checklists, cockpit flows, and callouts, organized by flight phase
- Profiles & callouts: This training tool allows pilots to understand, memorize, and review profile callouts and related tasks in a flexible learning environment
- Exterior preflight: Using detailed pictorial graphics and component images, this tool walks pilots through the aircraft’s exterior preflight procedures and locations, reinforcing proper walk-around tasks
- Free play FMS: The Free Play Flight Management System (FMS) trainer gives pilots a realistic, hands-on opportunity to develop and refine their FMS skills.
