Acron Aviation and Azerbaijan's National Aviation Academy (NAA) are proud to announce that the state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) has entered into service at NAA training centre in Baku.

Developed to Level D certification, the device represents a major milestone in Azerbaijan’s aviation training capability. Installed at the NAA, the Boeing 787-9 FFS provides pilots with the most advanced and immersive training experience available today, ensuring proficiency, safety, and operational excellence across the region.

The first of its type in the Caspian Sea region, the new simulator significantly expands training capacity, supporting the rising regional demand for pilot training of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and other airlines. The NAA will now be able to offer local CAA and EASA certified Boeing 787 training to other operators throughout the region.

Agil Heydarov, General Director at National Aviation Academy, Azerbaijan Airlines said: “We are proud to support Azerbaijan Airlines and the wider aviation community with world-class training infrastructure.”

"The addition of the Boeing 787-9 Full Flight Simulator enables us to deliver the highest quality instruction for one of the most advanced commercial aircraft in operation today.”
