Acron Aviation is one of the few organizations authorized by the UK Civil Aviation Authority to conduct the Type Rating Examiner Standardization (TRES) course. This world-renowned course is designed to prepare experienced TRI/SFI instructors for examining duties in compliance with regulatory standards.

Course overview

This five-day course focuses on the key differences between instructing and examining, equipping candidates with the skills to handle practical assessments in either a simulator or aircraft. The course concludes with a formal proficiency test to ensure candidates are prepared for their Examiner Assessment of Competence (EAoC) as required by their respective regulator.

Day 1: Ground school
Day 2: Ground school, including 1-hour simulator familiarity session
Day 3: Ground school, followed by 2 x 1.5-hour simulator sessions
Day 4: Ground school, followed by 2 x 1.5-hour simulator sessions
Day 5: Ground school, followed by 2 x 1.5-hour check details
