Product overview
The VMT minimizes time spent on actual aircraft by moving more training into the classroom. This approach allows trainees to focus on instructor-led scenarios, troubleshooting procedures, systems theory, and simulated "return to service" tests without the distractions of a real-world environment. With a fully simulated platform, students can engage in hands-on learning in a safe and effective space, preparing them for real-life scenarios.
Key features
The Virtual Maintenance Trainer is designed to engage and motivate employees while enhancing the overall safety and efficiency of your operation. With the ability to support multiple technicians working together, the VMT reinforces cockpit spatial awareness and offers a user-friendly platform to streamline the training process.
- Instructor operating station (IOS): Launch training scenarios, monitor student progress, and set up the aircraft environment
- Virtual flight deck (VFD): Simulated cockpit with organized panel layouts for system-specific training and active schematics
- Virtual aircraft (VA): Conduct walk-arounds, access compartments, identify components, and simulate component installation/removal
- Computer-based training (CBT): Self-paced lessons to reinforce systems knowledge.
- Compliance support: Supports Part 147 training organizations, Part 66 B1 & B2 (Levels 2 & 3), and CCAR Part 66 Levels 1 to 3 for maintenance categories:
- Basic maintenance skill training (ME & AV)
- Aircraft maintenance basic training (ME & AV)
- Aircraft type training (ME & AV CAT I & II)
